What is this?

I’ve had a blog at this domain since 2004. For most people, a blog is just a periodic recollection of various events in their lives. But I’m taking a slightly different approach.
This is still a recollection of various events in my life. But recounting them exactly as they happened is pretty boring for the reader — that’s you. So consider this an edited recollection. Embellished, if you like, to make it slightly more entertaining to read. It sounds vaguely disingenuous, but I don’t think it is. I’m just some guy on the web; what do you care if it really happened like that or not?
That said, nothing on here is a flat-out lie. The basics will always derive from events as they actually happened. I’m just exercising a little artistic license. And if we’re honest, who doesn’t do that on their blog?
