Ducks Unlimited Thunder Bay Chapter June 11

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~ May 14, 2022 (LSNews) Join us on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a fun, family-friendly Amazing Race-style day of “duck” activities, where teams will be encouraged to score the highest points in 10 challenges held along the loop of the boulevard lake and a city-wide pre-event scavenger hunt.

Registration is only $50 per person ($200 per team of 4) and each registrant receives a t-shirt, but it doesn’t stop there! Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams and top 3 individual fundraisers who raise a minimum of $100 – so contact your friends, family, colleagues and contacts – every dollar helps wetland conservation and could help you win fantastic prizes. This is a smoke-free activity and activities will be subject to COVID safety protocols (if applicable) as required by TBDHU.

Thunder Bay Chapter Co-Chair Peter Gammond explains that “wetlands support our way of life in many ways, including: flood control, water filtration, carbon storage and the provision of a vital habitat for a plethora of wildlife. Let’s support these important measures and have a great time doing it! So get in touch with your friends, family, colleagues and contacts – every dollar helps conserve wetlands while also having a chance to win prizes!
